Who are we?

The European Association of Machine Tool Merchants is a long-established and committed group of Machine Tool Dealers who believe that honesty and integrity is of utmost importance and who believe in offering a reliable and honourable service in all their dealings.
 
All our Members must comply with our strict ‘Code of Ethics’ which acts as a guarantee to Customers.  Therefore if for whatever reason a Buyer is not satisfied with the actions of the Dealer then they have the right to Arbitration by the Dealer’s Peers within the Association and can rest assured that appropriate action will be taken thereafter.  A copy of our Code of Ethics can be obtained either by contacting us direct (E-mail:

History
Our Members proudly display this symbol to indicate to potential Customers the high standards to which they adhere and which offers reassurance that any transactions are undertaken in a highly professional and satisfactory manner.  The European Association of Machine Tool Merchants (EAMTM) is a major international body representing Machine Tool Dealers. It's members come from 25 countries world-wide, meeting and trading on the basis of mutual trust.  Founded in the UK in 1940 as a British Association with 10 member companies.  Reached 100 member companies in 1950.  Became the Association of European Machine Tool Merchants in 1973 with 175 member companies.  Re-named in 1990 and became the European Association of Machine Tool Merchants.  Membership now incorporates more than 150 companies throughout the world.
